Misty is an all black DSH that I adopted through the Gloucester County Humane Shelter on 12/11/1995. I immediately took her to "Dr. Steve" (Dr. Steve Milden of Del. Valley Vet. Hosp. to be checked for feline HIV and leukemia. I call Dr. Milden "Dr. Steve" because I have had my cats under his great care for at least 18 years or more.
Misty is a fun cat to have around in that she is always active during the day whether it be playing with her toys or somersaulting through the air. She has always been a love and cuddles type of cat.
She loves to go on vacation to Ocean City, MD because she knows she gets extra special treatment and hogs the windows either for human attention or to watch the birds dive in to the water.
Funny story: My friend Janice & I came out to the car and saw we had a flat tire. It was cold so Wayne (Janice's husband) told us to go back to the condo. We looked up and saw all these people right outside our condo. We were both thinking what has happened and the elevator ride to the 5TH floor seemed to take forever. What did we find? All 6 of those people were talking to Misty who was in the window rolling over and just lapping up the attention!
