Dr. Steven Milden
Veterinarian

Dr. Steven Milden

Graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 1990. He started the Delaware Valley Veterinary Hospital in 1994 and is still owner of the practice. A central New Jersey native, he received his undergraduate degree in biology from the University of Pennsylvania. He is married and the proud parent of three sons and one daughter. He presently shares his home with two dogs and one cat. When he is not at the veterinary hospital, he enjoys coaching soccer and watching his children’s sports endeavors.

Dr. Dena Balsama
Veterinarian

Dr. Dena Balsama

Graduated from The Royal Veterinary College, University of London, in 2000. Prior to this, she received her undergraduate degree in biology from Adelphi University in Garden City, New York. A native of south New Jersey, she joined the Delaware Valley Veterinary Hospital in 2001. She is married and shares her home with two daughters, two rescued pit bulls, three cats, two birds, twelve chickens, and a beehive! In her free time, she stays busy by baking, gardening, running, and supporting her daughters' theatrical endeavors. Dr. Balsama is a Boston qualified marathon runner and a member of the Mullica Hill Women's Triathalon Club.

Dr. Julie D’Alessandro
Veterinarian

Dr. Julie D’Alessandro

Graduated from Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2003 and joined the staff of the Delaware Valley Veterinary Hospital in 2004. A native of Iowa, she now lives in south New Jersey, where she shares her house with her husband. An avid volunteer in the community, she enjoys reading and hiking.

Dr. Adam Miller
Veterinarian

Dr. Adam Miller

Originally from central New Jersey, Dr. Adam B. Miller attended Cornell University and graduated with a B.S. Degree in Animal Science. Following his undergraduate years, Dr. Miller attended Ross University, completing a clinical year at Purdue University and was awarded his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in January 2004. After graduating from veterinary school, he practiced in upstate New York before moving back to his home state.

A general veterinary practitioner at Delaware Valley Veterinary Hospital starting in 2006, Dr. Miller's professional interests include general surgery and internal medicine. He is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the New Jersey State Veterinary Medical Association. A devoted veterinary practitioner and father of three, he enjoys spending his leisure time traveling the world, grilling, tending to his tiny but immaculate lawn, and playing with his kids and cat, Jaya. Dr. Miller also shares his home with a Flat–Coated Retriever named Raina.

Dr. Jessica Morrissey
Veterinarian

Dr. Jessica Morrissey

Graduated in 2007 from the Ohio State University School of Veterinary Medicine. She received her undergraduate degree in small animal science from Delaware Valley College. A native of south New Jersey, she joined Delaware Valley Veterinary Hospital in 2007. She shares her home with her husband, two little boys, four dogs, three cats, a rabbit, and a fish. When not caring for patients, she enjoys hiking with her dogs and participating in other outdoor activities. She is also an avid Crossfitter and weight lifter, and loves spending time following her favorite band (Zac Brown Band) around the world!

Dr. Cheryl Goldstein
Veterinarian

Dr. Cheryl Goldstein

Graduated from Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2010. Prior to this, she received her undergraduate degree in biology from University of Rochester in Rochester, New York. A native of the Philadelphia suburbs, she joined Delaware Valley Veterinary Hospital in 2011. She now resides in West Deptford with two cats. She is an avid Flyers fan and enjoys outdoor activities and the arts.

Dr. Hannah Frank
Veterinarian

Dr. Hannah Frank

Graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 2015. She received her undergraduate degree in biology from Juniata College in Huntingdon, Pennsylvania. A native of Altoona, Pennsylvania, she joined the practice after graduation. Dr. Frank currently shares her home with her fiance, two cats, and one dog. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, baking, and watching movies.

Dr. Amanda Kiselak
Veterinarian

Amanda Kiselak

Graduated from The University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 2016. She received her undergraduate degree in Animal Science from Clemson University in South Carolina. Originally from Westtown, NY, she joined our practice after graduation. Dr. Kiselak now resides in southern New Jersey with her husband and two dogs; a sassy mini dachshund and a three-legged mixed breed from South Philly. Her professional interests include small animal neurology and working with small ruminants and farm animals. In her spare time, she enjoys visiting her family, trying out new recipes, and cooking for others. She also loves to explore; whether it be the Smoky Mountains, the farmers market of Rittenhouse Square, or the antique stores of Mullica Hill. Wherever she goes, she enjoys taking her dogs along on her adventures!

Dr. Margot Thompson-Watkins
Veterinarian

Margot Thompson-Watkins

Graduated from Tuskegee University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1986. She received her undergraduate degree in Biology and Animal Science from Tuskegee University in Tuskegee, AL. Dr. Thompson-Watkins now resides in New Jersey, and she joined Delaware Valley Veterinary Hospital in June 2015. She is married with three children, including a set of fraternal twins, and she shares her home with two dogs, a cat, two parrots, and fish. When she is not caring for patients, she enjoys teaching and traveling. She is also very active in church-related activities as a Eucharistic Minister, and minister to the sick and homebound.
